A collective space for all artists
Laurel Justice Retreats is a curated collection of retreats, workshops, and residencies by artists,
for artists. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of those in the visual, performing, and literary
arts for sanctuary from everyday concerns, expanding techniques, deepening inquiry, and
opening new channels of expression.
Our Founder
Laurel Justice has been guiding retreats and workshops for over 20 years. She knows intimately the internal and external challenges to honoring one's deep needs to respond to the human experience by making things. From a young age, Laurel imagined environments where artists could feel inspired and supported. A lifetime of friendships and partnerships with many beloved creators around the world led her to develop gatherings, where artists experience deep welcome and belonging.
Who We Are
Our Mission
Providing beautiful accommodations, well-sourced nourishment, and private work space for artists from around the globe, for the purpose of undistracted exploration, high engagement with the natural world, and building community with those for whom beauty/creativity is the shared mother-tongue.
Our Values
We value the power of the ARTIST to deepen the mystery of what it means to be human. We value the power of ART to aid in the imagination of a world that supports equitable human flourishing for all.
