RE-GROUND: Women of Color &   Non-Binary Activist and Artist Retreat

August 19-22, 2021 in Lake City, CO

A three day, all expense paid pampering in the mountains for women and non-binary activists/artists-of-color.

At this time, this retreat is by invitation only. If you are interested, we still want to hear from you. Drop us a line and tell us a little bit about yourself and your advocacy, and we will reach out if we have extra space.

You can support this event in one of three ways:

1. Donating to the cost of producing the retreat (tax deductible, yay!).

2. Providing "pampering" gifts (artisanal soaps, lotions, candles, goodies, etc. to go in gift bags for the rooms).

3. Providing a service (massages, yoga classes, fly fishing guide, etc.).

"Black people get to be pampered. Get to be looked after. And what a gift when we can sink into being served. I realized this is something I deny myself."
"...I was challenged to 'allow myself to be served', which is hard for POC to do. We were afforded a safe space to allow ourselves to look inward and heal. It was also about being seen AND heard...Now that we're back in the 'world', I've challenged myself to take what I received this weekend and let it manifest. So I challenge these dry bones to come alive and finally set this world ablaze!"
"Gratitude is not a big enough world. I have never needed a quiet reset so much in my entire life and it's a blessing to get that alongside so many hardworking womxn. Thank you to the amazing hosts that made us feel like queens. I'm learning how to accept kindness, gifts and hospitality, and that feels good."
"I didn't answer emails. Didn't ship anything. I didn't think about my responsibilities. I was free and existing. A retreat full of being served with no expectations. I am back now trying to soak up every inch of the rejuvenation I experienced."
" I want to thank you for all you did to make this weekend so nurturing for all of us. Especially when you didn't have to; you could've just gone about your life and not concerned yourself with the things of the world that concern US. Grateful for how you and your friends went out of your way to provide a safe space where we were able to just breathe, rest, refresh and heal. May you be blessed and continue to be a blessing to others."
